Compact balances

A&D has released the EJ Series compact balances that feature an eye-catching colour and stackable design facilitating easy storage.

The balances offer a solution as a teaching or instructional balance given their ease of operation, high flexibility, ease of storage and transportation plus the innovative features such as the density determination capability.

The units are also suitable for field work where battery operation and a high-visibility display are essential.

As the balances can be locked down to prevent theft, they are also suitable for work areas with a high throughput of occupants.

The balances feature multiple measurement units including a counting and percentage mode and automatic density calculation when using the optional Density Determination Kit.

Other highlights of the balances include: simple keyboard function; AC or battery operation, configurable Mode Key allows customisation of balance to suit users’ needs; under-hook weighing on 0.1 g models; comparator function gives a visual reference against a set target weight; backlit display can be set to switch off after a specified time period and the modular styling allows simple fitting of the breeze break and density options.
