Disposable medical thermistor probes
The NTC thermistors from Measurement Specialties can be used in disposable medical temperature products to improve monitoring accuracy and clinical hygienic standards. The sensors offer sensitivity, durability and interchangeability in a variety of physical configurations.
The disposable vinyl cap sensors are suitable for incorporation in catheters or invasive medical devices. The sensor may be used in a variety of applications including Foley catheters, oesophageal temperature monitoring, oral, rectal and fever thermometers, as well as environmental temperature measurement.
A variety of different resistance versus temperature characteristics, lead types and integral custom connectors are also available.
The 1.98 mm probes provide an accuracy of ±0.1 °C from 25 to 45 °C. They are latex free and can be supplied to FDA and CE/MDD requirements.
