Fluid aspiration

Vacuubrand’s BVC 21 NT family can be used for safe and efficient fluid aspiration with applications in biochemistry, medicine and life sciences, including supernatant aspiration from microtitre plates, petri dishes and cell culture bottles.

The BVC 21 NT family is compatible with most glass pipettes, plastic tips and disposable 8-channel manifolds. Suction speed can be precisely adjusted with the control button on the handset. BVC 21 NT Vario even allows preselection of the aspiration vacuum to prevent foaming of growth media or damaging of cells during the aspiration process.

A 4 L collection bottle ensures sufficient capacity and the integrated HEPA filter protects the integrated vacuum pump from being contaminated. All media wetted parts are autoclavable.

A second handset which transforms the unit into a low-cost solution for two independent workstations can be connected any time.
