Hach’s stainless steel ISFET probes feature a solid state sensing element to give rapid pH results without the problems associated with fragile glass electrodes.

The ISFET probe is rugged in design, chemically resistant and has in-built temperature compensation.

Compared to traditional glass- or plastic-bodied pH probes, the ISFET technology is easy to use and maintenance free. There are no reference solutions to refill or membranes to clog.

Storage of the probe is simple - users wipe the probe and place a storage cap over the sensing electrode and store the electrode dry. Cleaning can be accomplished with a brush and detergent.

The ISFET probe is available in numerous formats including spear point and rugged spear point as well as a narrow, long-format probe suitable for applications in life science and NMR vial testing. The standard probe is suitable for any tough or challenging applications where a rugged probe would be beneficial such as soil analysis or teaching applications.

For those working in restrictive and challenging environments where glass electrodes are forbidden or will not perform such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, agriculture, petrochemical and teaching, Hach’s No Glass electrodes and meters provide a solution.
