Labnet International MPS 1000 mini Plate Spinner

The Labnet International MPS 1000 Mini Plate Spinner, with two-position rotor, will quickly spin down droplets and condensation and is suitable for use before and after thermal cycling to improve PCR yield.

It accepts skirted, non-skirted and all standard PCR plates. It is claimed to be the smallest centrifuge capable of running PCR plates and can load, spin and remove plates in under 30 s. The spinner is claimed to provide improved results for both standard and real-time PCR. Users simply load two PCR plates and press ‘start’.

It has a rotor speed of 2500 rpm, G-Force of 500 xg and the rotor is fixed vertically.
