The Spinbar Capsule Magnetic Stirring Bar consists of a magnetic stirring bar that spins freely inside a small flat capsule and prevents the stirring bar from contacting the gel.
The large footprint of capsule allows it to be positioned in the bottom of vertical electrophoresis units and stir buffers without ‘wandering’. It is suitable for pH adjustments of small volumes, because the capsule prevents the magnetic stirring bar from impacting and damaging pH probes.
The protective capsule is moulded from polystyrene and houses a magnetic stirring bar which is moulded from inert PTFE. It can be easily disassembled for complete cleaning.
