Clements expands its centrifuge range with the release of the Orbital 160 High Speed Microcentrifuge (CEN 90200). The maintenance-free Orbital 160 is driven by a microprocessor controlled brushless DC motor, capable of generating up to 18,360 g.

A selection of easily interchangeable rotors is offered including two fixed angle rotors with capacities of 12 x 1.5 mL and 8 x 5 mL and a 12-place Microhaematocrit rotor.

Other features include:

  • Highly visible LED display;
  • Simple to operate touch pad;
  • Small footprint 305 x 260 mm;
  • Light weight 8 kg;
  • 0 to 99 min timer including pulse;
  • Adjustable acceleration and deceleration.
