New Brunswick HEF High Efficiency Freezers

New Brunswick’s ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers are claimed to be the most energy-saving in the industry. The company’s HEF High Efficiency Freezer models are said to consume up to 59% less energy than competitive units, potentially saving thousands in operating costs over the lifetime of the freezer, and have significantly less carbon impact on the environment than other systems.

ULT freezers are virtually never turned off and, compared to other laboratory systems, energy requirements can be high in order to maintain the very low temperatures necessary for sample preservation. The freezers minimise energy usage while providing very good sample protection.
