Oxford Optronix HypoxyLab hypoxia workstation and incubator
The HypoxyLab by Oxford Optonix is a workstation and incubator, designed to enable precisely controlled levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, temperature and humidity within a highly stabilised HEPA-filtered clean environment.
Regulated using oxygen partial pressure for true hypoxia, the product enables cells to be supplied with consistent amounts (and percentages) of oxygen in any location at any time, irrespective of laboratory altitude or current barometric pressure. The model mimics the in vivo oxygen environment of cells for reproducible data.
The workstation is compact and ergonomically shaped for fitting in limited spaces, or for portable use on a trolley for sharing between researchers. The 2021 model has been redesigned internally to increase the working volume by almost 50%.
The product can be used by cancer, stem cell and human virology researchers as well as multidisciplinary teams in drug development and proteomics.
