PID temperature controllers

Sanup Electrical Company has released the SDU line of PID temperature controllers.

Inputs for the controllers are universal and include a wide range of thermocouples, RTDs and linear DC signals. Available control outputs include relay contact, logic (for driving solid-state relays) and 4–20 mA.

A full range of DIN panel sizes is offered, from 48 to 96 mm².

Alarm contacts are standard, as are transmitter power supplies in all controllers except the 48 mm² unit. All temperature controllers have a timer function that can be used to switch off the control output after a preset time period, or to slowly ramp up the controller output to protect heaters from thermal shock.

An optional RS485/Modbus interface allows the controllers to be connected to most SCADA systems.

Typical applications include incubators, environmental chambers, high-temperature laboratory furnaces, timber drying kilns, plastic extruders, industrial kilns and furnaces, packaging equipment and product drying.
