PID temperature controllers

Sanup Electrical Company has released the SDU line of PID temperature controllers.

Inputs for the controllers are universal and include a wide range of thermocouples, RTDs and linear DC signals. Available control outputs include relay contact, logic (for driving solid-state relays) and 4–20 mA.

A full range of DIN panel sizes is offered, from 48 to 96 mm2.

Alarm contacts are standard, as are transmitter power supplies in all controllers except the 48 mm2 unit. All temperature controllers have a timer function that can be used to switch off the control output after a preset time period, or to slowly ramp up the controller output to protect heaters from thermal shock.

An optional RS485/Modbus interface allows the controllers to be connected to most SCADA systems.

Typical applications include incubators, environmental chambers, high-temperature laboratory furnaces, timber drying kilns, plastic extruders, industrial kilns and furnaces, packaging equipment and product drying.
