The Phoenix line of microwave-powered muffle furnaces can be used to ash samples in minutes. Available in two configurations with a variety of options, the system offers a choice of either a high-temperature furnace, reaching 1200°C, or a high-capacity furnace, reach 1000°C.
The Phoenix System features menu-driven software, program storage, internal calibration capabilities, and temperature control in automatic and ramping stages, RS232 and computer ports for connection to balances and printers. No fume hood space is needed — smoke, fumes and heat are removed continuously by a built-in exhaust system.
Phoenix meets the requirements for ASTM, USP, AOAC, FDA, ISO, and DIN methods. A sulfated ashing option is also available. Rugged and durable, these furnaces can be used in the laboratory or in the process area.
