Sartorius Stedim Biotech has launched the arium pro ultrapure water systems.

The demands placed on the production of ultrapure water (ASTM type 1) for laboratory applications are extremely high. Indeed, ultrapure water is the basis for countless applications like cell culture, atomic absorption, ion exchange chromatography and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). In such fields, it imperative that users obtain ultrapure water quality they can trust at the press of a button.

The arium pro produces ASTM type 1 laboratory water and features a display with intuitive touch function. The user-friendly menu navigation makes the unit simple to operate. Functions like volume and time-controlled dispensing coupled with freely adjustable flow rates give users ultra-high flexibility in all routine applications. Users will also appreciate additional features like PIN codes for basic configurations, along with a variety of new data-logging options.

All four models in the series offer dependable optimal analytical results. For example, laboratory-grade water that is free of RNase/DNase can be produced for biotechnology applications with a TOC <1 ppb and endotoxins <0.001 EU/mL. The systems can be installed as benchtop, wall-mounted or below-bench units meeting the user’s individual laboratory needs.
