Scientifica Motorised Movable Top Plate (MMTP)

The Scientifica Motorised Movable Top Plate (MMTP) is a large, versatile motorised platform designed for combining electrophysiology and multiphoton imaging research. With its super-smooth motion and ultra-low noise electronics, it is designed to allow the user to confidently move a sample while retaining long-term high-quality patch clamp data.

Designed to seamlessly integrate with all major upright microscopes and featuring an integrated sample plate holder, the MMTP offers a large mounting surface with 25 mm of super-smooth motorised X and Y travel and high resolution. The MMTP is designed to provide a flexible and reliable large mounting stage that can support multiple equipments without affecting movement, giving the user complete control over experiment set-up.

The MMTP’s 25mm motorised travel in the X and Y axes is designed to allow full access to explore and research a desired area. The product is also designed to maintain precise alignment of the microscope and laser inputs while enjoying the freedom to effortlessly move the sample and manipulators along the X and Y axes.

The ultra-smooth motorised movement of the MMTP is designed to allow the user to explore the sample while keeping patched cells intact, maximising data capture success. The electrically quiet, low-noise platform is designed to allow the user to record even the smallest electrophysiological signals without needing to switch off the motors.

Other features include recalling of cells of interest, adjustable mounting posts for different upright microscopes and platforming long-term experiments.
