The Sentry Equipment LNG sample panel (model MCG) is claimed to simplify sampling of single- and two-phase fluids. Using the tandem valve, the operator can take a sample quickly and easily by operating just one single levered valve instead of many.

Though the isolation in the cylinder is still performed using traditional shut-off valves, the main operation is simple as the tandem valve is moved through the three positions.

Rather than a cylinder and a valve method, the model uses a ‘speed loop’ to capture a representative sample. It is safer for operators as there is no requirement to leak any gas to the atmosphere. This ease and simplicity promotes sampling and overcomes operator reluctance towards the sampling process.

The liquid and gas samplers are claimed to be low maintenance.

Options include inlet filter, sample cooler, temperature indicator, flow indicator, block valves, carbon canister, and PTFE-, glass- and Monel-lined cylinders.
