Sequoia Scientific LISST-Portable|XR particle size analyser
Sequoia Scientific has released the LISST-Portable|XR, a portable particle size analyser with a built-in battery and touch panel display. The small analyser can be easily transported with one hand. It can make measurements outside in the rain, without a computer or electrical outlet, or on the lab bench, taking up little space.
A simple user interface with step-by-step procedures makes the device usable with minimal instruction. The 7″ touch panel displays the processed size distribution results, allowing the sample to be analysed right at the source rather than back in the lab hours or days later. The 0.35 to 500 µm size range, built-in ultrasonic probe and laser diffraction-based measurement ensure high levels of performance.
