StatSpin CytoFuge cytocentrifuge
The StatSpin CytoFuge 12 is a small, versatile and economically priced cytocentrifuge designed to gently deposit cells in a monolayer onto microscope slides.
The Cytofuge12 handles samples from routine body fluid preps to research methodologies involving application of multiple cell concentrations or controls on the same slide.
A broad range of selectable speed and run times enables precise replication of most procedures developed on other cytocentrifuge systems.
The units feature disposable filter concentrators which can save time and improve results by eliminating the need to clean and sterilise reusable sample chambers.
Sample volume range is from 50 to 400 µL.
The units are available in 1- and 3-well formats. The silicone gasket-sealed devices are made of transparent plastic and are designed for single use.
The fast, simple, economical centrifuges can be used to prepare up to 12 monolayer cell preps, are suitable for use with a range of body fluids and are easy to program with up to 24 protocols.
They feature a safety design; flexible speed, time and acceleration; and a choice of filter or gasket-seal concentrator formats.
