Torrey Pines Scientific has released a line of multi-position analog stirring hot plates featuring five or nine stirrers. The 30 cm square ceramic heater tops have a temperature range to 450°C.
The five-position stirring units can stir five 800 mL beakers and the nine-position units can stir nine 500 mL beakers, with a stirring range from 100 to 1500 rpm.
The units can support more than 22 kg on the plate surface and they are designed to keep spills out of the chassis. All controls are mounted well in front of the heater surface to protect against accidental burns.
The units are available in 100 VAC/50 Hz, 115 VAC/60 Hz, 220 VAC/60 Hz and 230 VAC/50 Hz. Fused for safety, they are supplied with a user’s manual and detachable line cord for the designated country. All units are rated to UL, CSA and CE or equivalent standards.
