Designed for performance and optimised for comfort, the Thermo Scientific HM525NX Cryostat is a routine cryostat with intuitive software and touchscreen for simple, efficient operation.
The cryostat provides good sectioning quality, featuring stepper motor technology to deliver reproducible section thickness and chamber temperature control down to -35°C. The user-friendly touchscreen interface allows intuitive operation and easy selection and adjustment of functions. The product was built with the user in mind; the light-touch handwheel requires minimal force to operate and additional knee space allows comfortable seated operation.
The stainless steel chamber and smooth surfaces allows efficient cleaning of the chamber and the optional on-demand UV disinfection protects against surface contamination and occupational exposure to biological pathogens.
