TPP 1000 mL Filtermax 'rapid' filtration system
TPP has added a 1000 mL version to its range of Filtermax ‘rapid’ filtration systems.
Fast filtration is the hallmark of the Filtermax ‘rapid’ system due to the use of its quadratic filter surface which provides over 20% more filter surface area than conventional filtration system membranes.
The large square 69 cm2 PES (polyethersulfone) membrane with a pore size of 0.22 µm offers very low protein binding and good chemical resistance for sterile filtering of cell culture media and a variety of other applications.
The square shape of the Filtermax bottles and filters takes up less space in refrigerators or on benches, while providing a sturdier footprint during filtration.
The units are hydrophilic, eliminating the use of external wetting agents or surfactants and feature a uniform GL45 screw thread.
