Viaflo Voyager adjustable spacing handheld pipette

Viaflo’s Voyager handheld pipette features electronically adjustable channel spacing to simplify transferring liquid between different labware formats.

The intuitive, handheld pipettes are claimed to be the first motorised, adjustable spacing pipettes in the world.

Featuring Viaflo’s one-handed tip spacing adjustment, a touch wheel interface, a full-colour screen and low tip attachment and ejection forces, Voyager provides efficient transfer of multiple samples between differing labware types without the need for an automated liquid handler.

Some of its applications include: sample reformatting (24 to 48 or 96 to 384 or test tubes to microwell plates); PCR reaction set up; ELISA sample transfers; TaqMan assay set up; and gel loading.

The pipettes’ spacing is adjustable from 4.5 to 21 mm. The pipettes facilitate safe sample handling and reduced cross contamination; consistent results and reduced fatigue; accurate delivery of liquids to the target vessels; and fewer motions equating to increased productivity.
