The Westlab Advanced Hot Plate Stirrer is able to handle volumes of up to 10 L and heat up to 320°C. The plate material is ceramic coated, offering a durable, hard-wearing surface that is resistant to most chemicals.
An in-built magnetic stirrer lets the user stir at speeds from 200–2200 rpm. The product also comes with its own probe and probe holder, enabling the user to suspend vessels into the solution for gentle or rapid heating and to correctly measure the temperature of the medium.
The product has a long timer range from 1–999 min and an infinite mode. This means the user can set and forget, as the unit will switch itself off.
