Venom Science Cobra Venom Detection Kit
Venom Science has developed a Cobra Venom Detection Kit to assist in tracing the illegal use of cobra venom by racing trainers, previously difficult to detect. The test involves using specially treated venom antibodies which are labelled with markers that highlight the cobra venom when they come into contact with it.
The cobra antibodies used in the test ‘seek out’ the venom and make a very simple and effective detection method.
The company’s Thai Cobra Venom is able to detect venom from the wide range of cobra species found across the world.
