Peter Lewis wins Order of Australia honour
Australian biomedical device industry luminary Peter Lewis has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his services to international trade, biotechnology and ICT.
Lewis has 25 years’ experience at technology-based companies, having held roles in Asia, Europe and the US. He currently leads business development for medical device and lab instrumentation designer Hydrix.
Prior roles include senior corporate and business development positions at the CSIRO and senior trade commissioner and consul general for Austrade’s Silicon Valley office.
Lewis is currently a member of the Victorian Government’s Biotechnology Advisory Committee (VBAC) and a member of the management committee for the Australian Industrial Research Group.
He is a founder and former member of technologist and entrepreneur community Churchill Club Australia and international technology company association Anzatechnet.
