Sydney cancer screening company Polartechnics is in discussions with an undisclosed company with a view to merging.
Polartechnics said the other party was in a similar industry. The Sydney company makes the TruScreen and CerviScreen HPV tests, as well as a melanoma scan and an electronic health record device.
It has recently announced several international orders for its cervical cancer diagnostics.
The company said in a statement to the stock exchange that it would make a further announcement in a fortnight.
