Listed laboratory and radiology services company Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) is to acquire Switzerland's Laboratory Prof. Krech Group, in what will be the company's second Swiss acquisition.

The Krech group employs around 40 staff and takes in annual revenues of around $5.1 million.

The company has already announced three other acquisitions in the past month, including two in Germany and one in Hawaii.

Sonic also announced today that it had completed one of these acquisitions, and now owns 100 per cent of the German Labor 28 Group.

Sonic runs a federation of diagnostic practices and employs over 16,000 people in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the US.
