State of the industry to be gauged by its leaders in annual survey

AusBiotech is pleased to once again conduct the annual CEO Industry Position Survey 2013 to get a comprehensive view of the Australian biotechnology sector.

AusBiotech is pleased to once again conduct the annual CEO Industry Position Survey 2013, with the support of Grant Thornton. AusBiotech conducts the survey early every year to get a comprehensive view of the Australian biotechnology sector, for the people who know it best.

The survey captures views on the operating environment and asks questions that will help build evidence about the significance of the industry and its perspectives, and tracks trends.

It also forms a strong platform for AusBiotech’s work with governments, allowing the industry body to rally as a cohesive industry body with a common goal.

The research intent is to be able to make strong statements about the magnitude of issues and trends and what would be likely to redress them - as well as providing a platform for advocacy this year.

Grant Thornton is part of one of the largest networks of independently owned accounting and consulting firms in the world and seeks to work constructively with the Australian biotechnology industry through its activities and support of this survey.

The de-identified results will be released in a comprehensive industry report, to be launched at industry briefings in April.

The survey has been issued in hard copy and online to CEOs, MDs and senior managers of Australian companies and global companies with an Australian arm. Responses are requested by 13 February.

Enquires about the survey may be directed to AusBiotech’s Communications Manager, Lorraine Chiroiu.
