Thursday, 09 August, 2012
Developed by a consortium of educational bodies and industry experts, the leadership program is part of a national initiative to increase Australia’s pool of executive level female leaders.
During a career-defining 12-month program, students accelerate their career progression and become part of an exclusive cohort of exceptional women. Designed in sympathy with the challenges of full time employment, the program focuses on applied learning outcomes to quickly optimise leadership capacity. During the program, WLA’s expert trainers work one-on-one with students to assist them to achieve real-time personal and organisational goals.
Suzi Finkelstein, Executive Convenor of Women & Leadership Australia said: “This program addresses what’s really happening within the leadership pipeline. It’s about identifying and nurturing leadership potential and working together to give women the opportunities they really want.”
Registrations are now open for 2013 programs. Scholarship applications for the course must be submitted by Monday 17 September 2012.
