AusBiotech international investment showcase events in Hong Kong and New York

AusBiotech is calling for expressions of interest to participate in two international showcase events, the first in Hong Kong in May and the second in New York in June.

Hong Kong is a major financial centre in Asia, a portal for investment funds and showcase/hub in the region and the springboard to mainland China for two-way investments and collaborations. Hong Kong’s biotech industry is service-based, and has got strong local government support for joint ventures and international partnership. AusBiotech is venturing to Hong Kong and will host the ‘Australian Life Science Investment Showcase: Hong Kong 2012’ in conjunction with the ASX’s small to mid-cap event.

Following on from the highly-successful 2011 showcase in New York, AusBiotech will again host the ‘Australian Life Science Investment Showcase’ in New York, prior to BIO 2012 in Boston. Last year over 70 investors attended, encompassing mainly East Coast venture capitalists, investment banks and private equity groups.
