Healthcare is up 2 per cent on a good day’s trading on the stock exchange at 1.30pm.
Pharmaxis (ASX:PXS) is up 11c, or 6.4 per cent, on yesterday’s news it had reached a critical milestone in its Phase III trail of Bronchitol in cystic fibrosis patients.
Mesoblast (ASX:MSB) is up 2.5 per cent on recent news it had raised over $10 million from private and sophisticated investors.
Cardiac catheter manufacturer CathRx (ASX:CXD) is up almost 13 per cent, while proteomics company Fluorotechnics (ASX:FLS) is down almost 20 per cent on very low volumes.
Pathology company Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) is up 42c to $11.49.
Avita Medical (ASX:AVH) is up slightly on improved sales of its respiratory products Breath-A-Tech and Funhaler spacers.
Biota (ASX:BTA) is up 3c to 68c while CSL (ASX:CSL) is up almost 60c to0 $32.70.
Novogen (ASX:NRT) is up a touch, as is Phosphagenics (ASX:POH).
