A very flat day’s trading today at 1.30pm, with the healthcare index down slightly along with the rest of the All Ordinaries.

The biotech majors (COH, CSL, RMD) regained some lost ground from yesterday, while Pharmaxis (ASX:PXS) is down a little after yesterday’s gains.

Novogen (ASX:NRT) is up a cent to 46c.

Singapore company SciGen (ASX:SIE) has told the ASX it is unaware of any reason why its stocks are experiencing turbulence at the moment – high volumes have been traded although the share price remains a tiny 12c.

The company appointed a new CEO and chairman a fortnight ago, with founder Saul Mashaal standing down.
