BIO 2008: Oz bio online

AusBiotech, in association with PR agencies DatelineMedia USA and Tania Ewing & Associates, has set up an Australian-focused internet media room for the BIO 2008 convention, taking place in San Diego from June 17 to 20.

The site, at www.australiabio2008 is aimed at providing journalists with access to the latest information about Australian companies, corporate images and video, contact info and press releases as well as information on the state of play in the Australian biotech sector.

"Everyone at BIO has a story to tell, and the Australian BIO media room will be promoted heavily to the media at the conference, which will bring Australian companies to the attention of far more media than they have had access to previously," Tania Ewing said.

The site is taking a direct RSS feed from Australian Life Scientist magazine, which will be represented at BIO by editor, Kate McDonald.
