Bio prospects for CEO
Tuesday, 23 September, 2008
Peter May has been appointed as the new CEO of Brisbane agribiotech BioProspect, taking over from Warwick Dowse, who has returned to New Zealand.
May has previously worked with CFL, Incitec and Crop Care Australasia, and has run his own consultancy since 2001, working with the likes of Syngenta. He will officially take up the job on November 3.
BioProspect focuses on the discovery, research and development of commercial products from Australian botanical sources.
It is currently developing two main products: a natural termite compound called Termilone and a range of natural plant extracts for application in the animal nutrition, health and agricultural markets called Bioeffectives.
