Chemeq raises $10m

Perth pharmaceutical company Chemeq (ASX:CMQ) has raised AUD$10 million from a share placement to institutional and private clients with Bell Potter Securities.

Chemeq will use the fund from the placement, whch was made at $4.55 a share, to improve the productivity and efficiency of its new Perth manufacturing plan. The company is in the final stages of commissioning the plant for commercial production of its novel veterinary anti-microbial for the pig and poultry industries.
