Selwyn Snell has resigned as the CEO and a director of BioProspect (ASX:BPO), after three years with the company. Jeremy Shervington has been appointed in an executive capacity until a replacement is found. Research and development will still continue under the management of CSO Matt Kealley.
pSivida (ASX:PSD) has appointed Massachusetts-based Michael W Rogers as a non-executive director and chair of the pSivida Audit Committee. Rogers is the executive vice-president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Indevus Pharmaceuticals, a US company developing products targeted at medical specialty areas such as urology and infectious diseases.
Dr Deborah Cooper has been appointed as CollTech Australia's (ASX:CAU) chief scientific officer. Cooper has previously worked for Clinical Cell Culture (ASX: CCE) and Verigen Australia, a subsidiary of German-based company, Genzyme.
Prana Biotechnology (ASX:PBT) has appointed Peter Marks has a non-executive director, he will also join the firm's audit committee.
BresaGen (ASX:BGN) has appointed Dr Michael Monsour as a non-executive director, effiective July 26.
Angela Talbot, who was recently appointed as Sirtex Medical's (ASX:SRX) chief financial officer, has also been appointed as company secretary, effective July 27. Gilman Wong has stepped down from the position to focus on his CEO role.
ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals (ASX:CXS) has appointed Patrick Burns and Peter Bradfield as directors. US-based Burns is currently director of Progen Industries (ASX:PGL), a director of companies firmView, Euclid Systems and StablEyes, and a senior advisor to Pharmalab. Bradfield is currently managing director of a marketing and development advice consultancy and a former CEO of Energy Resources of Australia, and former CEO and managing director of the Elders Mining Group.
