In brief: Burns joins Progen; Cryptome appoints CSO

Progen Industries (ASX: PGL, NASDAQ: PGLAF), announced today it had appointed former Bresagen chief financial officer and company secretary, Linton Burns, as CFO and company secretary.
Burns succeeds Milton McColl, has been Progen's CFO since late 2001.
And Melbourne-based Cryptome Pharmaceuticals (ASX: CRP) has appointed Dr Leodevico Ilag as chief scientific officer. Dr Ilag is the co-founder, former managing director and current chief technology officer of Munich proteomics company Xerion Pharmaceuticals. He is due to join Cryptome in September 2004.
