Current trends in the biotechnology industry

On March 27 & 28, 2001, at the Westin Hotel, Sydney, a conference titled "˜Current Trends in the Biotechnology Industry' will be held.

Organised by Marcus Evans, the event is a practical business conference that will also exhibit latest biotechnology research from companies and universities in three Special Science Showcases.

The biotechnology industries in Australia are growing. Rapid developments in areas such as Human Therapeutics, Genomics/Proteomics and Plant Biotechnology mean that many companies and institutions are experiencing significant growth and development. Influential business factors such as recruitment, public perception, regulation, financing, and industry best practice are to some extent following in the wake of scientific developments. This event is designed to bring industry, research and their collective support services, up to speed in this dynamic and evolving sector.
