The Setaflash Series 3 flash point tester has been designed for rapid testing and spot checks for most user applications. Checking flash point is important during inspection and analysis of many products. For example, in the classification of potentially hazardous substances where storage, transport and disposal charges are based on flammability and where incorrect classification can lead to significant added costs.

The Setaflash 3 test method is internationally specified and approved by leading regulatory authorities, such as UN Class 3 non-viscous flammable liquids.

The instrument is compact and portable - suitable for laboratory, production line or field environments. It incorporates automatic flash detection and easy to operate controls - designed to minimise required operator skills and give reliable results. A precise and repeatable 'flash/no flash' result is shown on a digital display in less than 2 min reducing waiting periods and allowing sample evaluation in the shortest time possible.

The small sample volume required for testing minimises the risks associated with potentially harmful fumes, while at the same time reducing problems of disposal.

The user-friendly Setaflash Series 3 has autoflash detection and a temperature range of ambient to 300°C.
