Hydrogen gas leak detector

The GX-Hawk-100 is a portable hydrogen gas leak detector specifically designed for gas chromatographers. Based on solid state sensor technology, the unit will quickly and easily aid in pinpointing the source of leaks at capillary column connections, gas lines and cylinders. Just point andread.

Hydrogen gas offers chromatographers important advantages over helium and nitrogen in terms of speed, sensitivity, and resolution per unit of time. But because hydrogen can form an explosive mixture with air as well as other safety concerns the use of hydrogen as a carrier gas in GC is often avoided (even as the FID, which uses hydrogen as a fuel gas, is the most popular detector). The GX-Hawk-100 can help pinpoint and eliminate leaks so users can confidently use hydrogen safely while improving chromatography results.

With selectivity, sensitivity and reliability, hydrogen can be detected at trace (low ppm) levels. Gas chromatographers no longer need to use bubble solutions, which are messy and may potentially contaminate the instrument.

The unit is CE-approved and requires virtually no maintenance or calibration.
