The FlexiSpense 2 and FlexiSpense 6 Microtitre Plate Dispensers from ASYS Hitech offer automated dispensing solutions to the repetitive reagent addition tasks that are part of 96 or 384 well plate analysis.

Accurate, with low dead volume and a wide range of dispensing volumes from 5 µL to 2 mL, the FlexiSpense systems are suitable for all dispensing applications.

Two models are available for either two-plate capacity or six-plate capacity and both models are designed to be robot friendly for inclusion in automated systems. A height adjustable manifold allows the use of the FlexiSpense systems for either deep well or low profile plates.

The materials used in the liquid path are compatible with a wide range of organic solvents, acids, bases and other aggressive liquids, and the high precision piston pump used requires no maintenance. An adjustable delivery pump speed allows various viscosity liquids to be delivered accurately and reproducibly.

Operation is very simple and the system is able to dispense a 96 well plate in less than 14 s or a 386 well plate in around 20 s.

Up to 15 dispensing programs can be stored for use, making the FlexiSpense systems suitable for any laboratory using 96 or 386 well plates for repetitive studies.

The FlexiSpense 6 system adds the benefits of handling not only 96 and 384 well plates but other formats as well, using either a single tip or 8 channel manifold. Volumes up to 10 mL can be added with the FlexiSpense 6.
