Schott Duran GL 25 and GL 45 premium caps

Designed to fit on all Schott Duran laboratory bottles, the GL 25 and GL 45 premium caps are made from TpCh260 with a PTFE coated silicone seal.

The premium cap and pouring ring is optimally suited to be utilised in processes which are both chemically and thermally demanding. Its very high temperature resistance makes it suitable for demanding sterilisation processes, such as hot-air or dry-heat sterilisation and depyrogenation at 260°C. The materials used correspond to the specifications outlaid by the FDA, USP, EP and JP international standards. Consequently, the premium cap is particularly suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

Due to the PTFE-coated silicone sealing disc, the premium cap is able to create a tight seal making it suitable for the storage and transportation of sensitive products. With a large working temperature range, the polymer TpCh260 can be used down to -196°C or liquid nitrogen. When used in conjunction with the Schott Duran Premium Bottle, this opens up a whole new scope of working solutions.

The caps are available for all GL 25 and GL 45 threads and feature temperature resistance from -196 to +260°C. They conform to USP class VI and DMF is available on request (DMF No. 19757).

As no dye additives are included in their manufacture, the leaching of dyes is excluded. All caps in the range feature a Retrace Code with the batch certificate available via internet.
