domnick hunter has extended its Nitrox range of laboratory gas generators to include three new models of hydrogen gas generators.

The generators are a source of ultra-high purity hydrogen gas for a number of laboratory applications, including carrier gas for gas chromatographs and fuel gas for flame ionisation detectors.

Designed to comply with safety regulations concerning hydrogen gas, the hydrogen generators supply gas only on demand at low pressure, thus eliminating the potential risks of high pressure storage.

Using the principle of electrolytic dissociation of water, the generators produce a continuous steam of ultra-pure, dry hydrogen gas at a consistent 99.99999% purity level. Flow rates up to 500 cc/min are available.

Deionised water and an electricity supply are all that are needed for continuous, uninterrupted operation and the units are virtually maintenance-free. Sophisticated microprocessor control and monitoring give the generators operational and safety features.
