16th Congress of the Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists (FAOBMB)

Under the umbrella of FAOBMB, five life science societies from New Zealand and Australia are partnering to deliver a diverse program that covers topics in biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and plant biology.
This is the first time New Zealand has hosted an FAOBMB conference since 1999. After exploring every option, the organising committee has made the decision to make our forthcoming congress a virtual-only event. The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak means we are no longer able to convene an in-person event that will fairly enable all our New Zealand delegates to attend and be safe.
With an outstanding scientific program already in place, and delegates from over 25 countries, the congress will continue to run on 22–25 November. All Congress content will be available in real time and on demand.
