Personal microcentrifuge
16 March, 2005Edwards' in-house manufacturing division has available the low-cost QikSpin personal microcentrifuge made in Australia. The centrifuge's maximum speed is 6000 rpm producing 2000 rcf. Two interchangeable rotors are supplied with each unit to accommodate 16 x 0.2 mL and 8 x 0.5/1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes.
Small centrifuges
14 July, 2004Thermoline has a digital centrifuge available. The model THC-16D has a maximum speed of 4000 rpm and a capacity of 16 x 10 mL tubes. A micro haematocrit centrifuge model THHC-24, which has a maximum speed of 12,000 rpm with a 24 tube rotor, is also available.
