The ARACUS amino acid analyser, from membraPure, is said to make analysis of amino acids more modern, fast and simple. It uses the classic means of routine analysis in amino acids by post-column derivatisation with ninhydrin, also known as the gold standard. An updated procedure allows for the analysis of physiological and hydrolysate amino acids with the same buffer system and column.
The product has a compact design consisting of three individual units: the main unit, the autosampler and the eluent rack EluBox. This modular design allows the instrument to be used in research, quality control and in clinical laboratories. The autosampler provides continuous analysis of 96 samples (2x 48 vials) and samples injected without sample loss. The washing routine of the injection valve and syringe pump ensures zero cross-contamination.
The aminoPeak software is user-friendly and self-explanatory and meets the latest GLP criteria.
