The IONUS ion chromatography system, from membraPure, conducts fast analysis of anions and cations with and without suppressor technique. It is suitable for all isocratic methods in ion chromatography using the non-destructive thermal conductivity detector (TCD). The anion suppressors can be used to lower the detection level for components with very low concentration.

The system features a double-flow, high-precision pump, an integrated degassing unit, sample separation columns, an automated suppression system and a broad-range, high-sensitivity conductivity detector. It has a compact and modular configuration.

The main unit can be attached to an autosampler or other options to allow for more sophisticated analysis. The autosampler can hold up to 48 vials of 1.5 mL or up to 96 well plates. The iControl software package is user friendly and self-explanatory and meets the latest GLP.

In a special version, the system can detect bromate with a level of 5 ppb. The transition metals and bromate are detectable after derivatisation and with the membraPure single wavelength detector based on LED technology. This produces results with the highest precision and reproducibility.
