Postnova NovaSEC multidetection SEC/GPC system

Postnova Analytics’ NovaSEC system is a multidetection SEC system that incorporates MALS, viscometer, RI and UV techniques.

The system offers flexibility in SEC/GPC analysis, allowing access to a wide range of applications. It is designed for analysts who require quick information on molecular weight, intrinsic viscosity, molecular structure (branching, conformation), molecular size (RG, RH) and much more.

The 21-angle MALS detector provides absolute molar mass and size, maximum number of angles, low-angle range and a ‘clean by design’ flow cell. A four-capillary viscometer detector, which is temperature controlled, provides absolute intrinsic viscosity, branching, conformation and size down to 1 nm.

The bundled NovaSEC software suite is a complete software platform incorporating full system control, data collection, data evaluation, manipulation and reporting. The software suite allows multiple evaluation and plot options, including a Mark-Houwink plot, a conformation plot and a branching calculation module.

The product will handle most SEC/GPC applications, including synthetic polymers, biopolymers, polysaccharides, peptides, proteins and antibodies. The system can also be tailored to meet users’ particular application challenge(s) and can be upgraded or reconfigured to meet evolving or changing needs.
