Tanaka Scientific has been pioneering the development of scientific instruments and is said to be a leader in the manufacture of automatic petroleum testing apparatus.
Tanaka’s automated distillation tester complies with ASTM D86, D850, D1078, ISO3405, IP123, IP195 and JISK2254. Its flash point automated models conform to all relevant ISO/IP test methods and include Abel closed-cup, Tag-closed cup, Pensky-Martens closed-cup and Cleveland open-cup types.
The company’s EDXRF models, for total sulfur determination, comply with ISO 8754 and ASTM D4294-03. Tanaka has also recently released its third generation of automated cold filter plugging point (CFPP) testers.
Tanaka’s mini pour cloud point testers are highly precise and only require a small sample volume. They comply with ASTM D6749/D97, ISO3016, ASTM D7683/D2500 and ISO 3015. The company’s automated Aniline Point tester complies with ISO 2977 and ASTM D611.
The company’s reid vapour pressure tester is in accordance with ASTM D323 and IP69. Its automated ring and ball method softening point tester complies with ASTM D36/E28, EN1427 and IP58.
Tanaka can determine carbon residue after evaporation and pyrolysis of petroleum products. It also has a fully automated, benchtop batch reporting tester for kinematic viscosity.
