Aves Labs Neuronal Cell Markers
Aves Labs chicken-produced neural cell marker antibodies can be used along with existing mouse or rabbit antibodies in double-labelling studies.
The neuronal cell markers are made against sequences that are 100% shared between mouse and human proteins, ensuring that the neural cell marker antibodies will react with a wide range of different mammalian species in addition to mice and humans. In some cases, the company’s cell markers contain mixtures of anti-peptide antibodies generated against different regions of the same gene product, improving signals in experiments while still assuring target specificity.
The cell markers can be sold individually or in NeuralSampler Kits. The 1-NeuralSampler Kit includes one 200 µl vial of Neural Cell Marker antibody, 50 µL of a secondary anti-chicken IgY antibody and 1 mL of BlokHen blocking reagent designed for use with chicken IgY antibodies. The 3-NeuralSampler Kit features three 200 µL vials of any combination of Neural Cell Marker antibodies, three vials (50 µL each) of a secondary antibody and 3 mL BlokHen blocking reagent designed for use with chicken IgY antibodies.
