SA Police seize 'clandestine laboratory' drug-making equipment
Following a search at Woodville North last week, Western District Police have made one of the largest South Australian seizures of drug-making equipment in recent years.
In connection with an ongoing drug investigation, Western District police searched a Woodville North property on 9 March.

“The search allegedly uncovered a substantial amount of equipment and chemicals consistent with a clandestine laboratory inside a shed and in the rear of a ute parked at the address,” South Australia Police reported.
“Investigators also located approximately 400 grams of methamphetamine and a significant quantity of precursor chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.”

Also seized by police was a loaded sawn-off shotgun.
Arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled drug, trafficking in a controlled drug and possessing a firearm without a licence was a 44-year-old Woodville North man.
He appeared in court, where he was remanded in custody until he appears in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 23 June.
