VWR in Australia
VWR International has acquired the businesses of Crown Scientific, Global Science & Technology and Quantum Scientific.
This acquisition expands the company's distribution and service capabilities within Australia and New Zealand, which may provide better value, enhanced services and a broader product and services portfolio to existing users.
It also allows VWR and Quantum Scientific to combine industry knowledge, product and service portfolios, and distribution expertise.
As part of VWR, the Quantum Scientific business will continue to service users with the same products and services from the same locations. Their product offering will be augmented by VWR over time, providing a full range of high-technology instruments, equipment, chemicals, life science products, production supplies and safety products.
